In this, you can cut out habitual, negative thought patterns and prevent\u00a0downward spirals of negativity. You\u00a0further carve a path to access expansive inner resources of\u00a0peace, contentment, meaning, and well-being.<span id=\"more-462\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>One goal of these\u00a0exercises is to train the mind to purposefully focus\u00a0attention on a\u00a0present experience. Try them in the morning, before bed, or at my favorite\u00a0place\/time:\u00a0the dinner table right before you eat. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.
